HUBBOX is supporting Children’s Hospice South West throughout 2015 raising money through sales of kid’s meals, on-site charity boxes and sponsored events.
On the weekend of the 10th-12th of July, we are taking part in our first sponsored event. The Ride for Precious Lives is an argous 205-mile cycle ride from St Austell to Bristol via all three of the Children’s Hospice South West’s Hospices’; Little Harbour near St Austell, Little Bridge House near Barnstaple and Charlton Farm near Bristol.
We have handpicked a team of talented cyclists from our staff and customers to take part in this ride. The HUBBOX Managing Director Richard Boon, himself a keen cyclist, has stepped up and is spearheading the charge to Bristol. And remembering that it is not a race – he has offered to lead from the front!
“We were so inspired by the incredible work and support the Children’s Hospice South West gives to families and kids before during and after what has to be the worst thing a family can ever endure, that we wanted to help. We donate a percentage of money from every kids meal we sell as well as giving vouchers to the families to enable them to enjoy a meal at one of our restaurants. This bike ride seemed like a great way for us to top up our donations and get involved directly with one of CHSW’s largest annual events.”
We are looking to raise over £8,000 and need your support. Please use the link below to go directly to our Virgin Money Giving page and pledge whatever you can afford.
