Hub Box on the hunt for new artistic talent

We’re giving recent graduates the opportunity to use their honed artistic skills to design team t-shirts and a wall mural. It’s just our little way of supporting aspiring, local illustrators and artists by giving them a platform to showcase their work!

The winning entrant will receive a cash prize of up to £500 and will be commissioned to produce a T shirt design and a wall mural design. There is also potential for the winner to work on an ongoing paid project basis with MEOR Design.

Based in St Ives, MEOR Design, has worked with Hub Box since day one and has pulled together a comprehensive brief to steer graduates in the right direction to help unlock their potential.

Founder Richard Boon comments: “We are keen to nurture talent in the region, not just in hospitality, but by inspiring and supporting young people to achieve their dreams, whatever they might look like. We’re keen to reveal the next Banksy or Ben Allen and are excited to see what they all come up with.”

Over the years, Hub Box has worked with many established illustrators and artists, such as David Shillinglaw, Stevie Gee and Neasden Control Centre. Their illustrations have appeared on menus, interior graphics, been utilised on social media and at point of sale.
